Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagements: As the digital transformation Lead for these industries, you will support a small number of accounts, but will be expected to deliver success and provide meaningful solutions that will serve as key future use cases for the industry across the US. This person is expected to be able to identify key C-level needs from the customers, define a strategy and deliver a proposal that is accepted and agreed by the customer. This leader will lead directly a few accounts, but will be expected to define and consult on AI Digital transformation to other prioritizes accounts across the U.S.

Technical Leadership and Engagements: The director is expected to be well versed on AI and overall cloud solutions and architectures. The lead has to be able to independently work with the customer’s technical teams as well as have technical conversations with the technical leadership teams at the CIO\CTO Level. The executive will partner with the National Cloud Solutions Architects, AI Engineering, Digital Advisors, Partners and ISV’s, and Account teams to ensure that an AI technical solution is properly designed and adopted by customers. This leader will be seen as the technical go to person for the AI country plan in the U.S.

AI Partner Ecosystem: The lead is expected to be well versed on the AI partners ecosystem. This includes key Systems Integrators, Independent Software vendors, Startups. The Director will ensure that the partner ecosystems is part of the solutions and partner with our partners teams (OCP), on partner readiness and ensure the key partners are prioritized for AI programs

Industry Leadership: From an industry perspective this role will focus directly on Manufacturing and Energy and partner with one other industry lead. The two leaders will collaborate with key industry sales teams, associations, customers, influencers and regulators to ensure to remove blockers and drive innovation.

Minimum Qualifications:

Digital Transformation: 5+ Years of experience and an extensive track record of large deal closing and experience selling platform and enterprise solutions to large/global enterprise customers with a focus on Data & Analytics platform technologies presented to the CTO\CIO or equivalent executives.

Consultative Technical Selling: 3+ Years of validated experience in consultative technical selling approach, including bringing innovative ideas to customers problems and being customer focused.

Additional Qualifications:

Executive Presence: Experience and expertise selling to senior business decision makers by aligning & reinforcing the value of the solution to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities and decision criteria. Experience in influencing Senior Leadership teams to drive strategy and investments. required

Collaborative: Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills. required

Excellent Communicator: Able to distill widely variant feedback into root cause issues and provide actionable feedback to other stakeholders, deep technical product demo, presenting, writing, and verbal communication skills required.

Performer: Highly driven passionate person, consistently exceeds goals with a demonstrated track record of exceeding goals. required

Data Platform modernization and migration, and Analytics is preferred.

AI Solutions: High-level expertise in sophisticated cloud solutions that include knowledge mining, Machine Learning, Cognitive services and understanding of identity, authentication, security, privacy, and compliance requirements, and experience integrating them into cloud and hybrid solutions

Technical breadth: Enterprise customer level experience with Cloud technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Data Landscape, Architecture Designs, Open Source Technologies, Industry Standards and demonstrated ability to integrate new technologies on prem as well as on the cloud.

Market insights: Understanding of Artificial Intelligence solutions from competitors (AWS, GCP, others) as well as Architect Artificial Intelligence based applications, startups and partner ecosystem.

Industry Builder: Understand capabilities of, strategically be able to work with, influence cohesively, build and grow, Microsoft (or similar) customers, members of the Microsoft (or similar) sales, services, and marketing organizations, internal and external communities and Microsoft (or similar) partners, thinktanks and associations.

Strategy: Experience developing strategies, execution plans and reporting to achieve business goals through multiple channels and competing to take market share.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree, MBA and Masters in Technical fields or relevant job experience all accepted

Certifications: Azure Fundamentals, Data Engineer or Azure AI Engineer preferred

Additional trainings, technical or sales certifications and education in Enterprise Architecture valued

Travel: 25 to 50% in U.S. Based Territories
