Responsible for the management of operations planning process for WDI. This process includes Capacity Planning, Demand Requirements Planning, Production Planning, and Inventory Management. Also works with the Plants and Capital Planning to ensure we plan effectively to meet our long term strategic growth plans. Responsible for the on-going process enhancements and system implementations which will ensure increased effectiveness in the Supply Chain area.

Responsible for managing the operational planning activities which best satisfy the demand forecast while meeting business objectives of profitability, productivity, competitive customer lead teams etc.

Develop further enhancements to the operations planning processes including production scheduling, demand resource planning, and capacity requirements planning.

Responsible for the development, implementation, and management of inventory strategy. Including safety stock management, sku rationalization, and obsolete inventory management.

Provides key information for the long term capital plan for production.

Develop, implement and manage Production Strategy for the Plants (tradeoff between flexibility and efficiency of line utilization).

Support NPD Process by providing scheduling resources to ensure new products are included in long term capacity plan.

Leads the Supply Chain organization in developing the Capacity Requirements to meet the Company's long term Strategic Plan.

Responsible for the development and implementation of software tools and systems to achieve increased efficiencies in the Supply Chain Arena. 

Qualifications 

Bachelors degree in Capacity Planning and/or Forecasting or related degree required.

Minimum of 10 years experience in Capacity Planning in CPG industry. Experience managing a team is required. SixSigma experience preferred

Knowledge - Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain systems.

Skills - Expert in Capacity Planning in CPG industry. Skilled in business statistics and analysis. Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Abilities - Ability to operate at the hands-on level of capacity planning. Ability to lead a team in forecasting, building models and creating processes. Ability to interact and communicate effectively in a cross-functional environment. Ability to provide insightful data to senior executives.
