The Director of Operations for Bon Appétit Management Company supervises the operational success of the account adhering to the Client’s culture and guidelines and Bon Appétit’s standards and expectations of food quality, freshness and presentation.Reporting to the Resident District Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining established costs and quality standards at AYCTE operations. Maintains and teaches a good work ethic.Motivates, trains, develops and directs all staff to accomplish the goals and objectives of the operation to the satisfaction of the customers.Solves problems professionally, rapidly and fairly.Conducts safety, sanitation and maintenance programs.Maintains excellent relationships with employees, guests and Client.Promotes the professional growth and development of the entire team.In addition, the Director of Operations will foster strong interdepartmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations.

•Has a minimum of 5 years food service management experience.
•Able to speak clearly and listen attentively to staff, peers, supervisors, guests and client.
•Strong catering experience required.
•Has computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
•Strong passion for great food.
•General culinary knowledge of basic kitchen practices, protocols and procedures.
•Ability to follow all Bon Appétit Health & safety standards.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
•College or Culinary Degree
•Online Sexual Harassment, Wage and Hour, LOA Training required
•ServSafe management certification required
