Director of Private Client Group is responsible for administration of the corporate Private Client offering in existing markets as well as evaluation and development for future markets.Directs and leads the managers responsible for overseeing the Private Client associates. 


Key Responsibilities:


Ensures implementation of segmented relationship plan, including specified frequency of contacts with each client based on relationship segment. Majority of clients will be high balance depositors with multi-faceted complex relationships.

Cultivate a relationship-first sales climate which proactively addresses client product needs based on life-events.

Build relationships with leaders in commercial banking and wealth management/investments as well as all other areas of the bank to ensure a culture of collaboration for relationship expansion efforts with high net worth clients.

Participate in client meetings and prospect calls for key relationships.  

Create and oversee effective utilization of event-based marketing opportunities (especially through signature sponsorships) to deepen relationships with clients and prospects. 

Oversees the education and development plans for all Private Client Group associates.

Define and utilize measures of success to track effectiveness of relationship retention, expansion, and advocacy. Champion CRM usage to document and coordinate client interactions.


Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in related field of study or 4 years of applicable experience

Advanced sales skills and sales management experience required

In depth understanding of banking methodologies and best practices

Experience in working with and leading cross-organizational teams along with the ability to satisfactorily service internal and external clients

Ability to effectively lead a team with successful associate engagement and financial results 

Strong written and verbal communication skills, professional demeanor, and ability to effectively present information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Strong business acumen and high technical aptitude with ability to absorb and synthesize information
