Meta seeks a Director of Product Marketing who is excited by the opportunity to help Meta become a leading growth partner for app developers. This is a leadership role with responsibility for the market strategy that drives the development of new products delivering transformational value to App Developers. This Director will also bring insights on the evolving market and privacy landscape in order to shape the evolution of our existing app ads and monetisation products. Drawing on your skills bringing teams and people together in an inclusive and thoughtful way, in this role, you will manage a high-performing diverse team of product marketers who guide strategic direction, product development, and product adoption. Key to this is shaping the vision for our app developer strategy through a strong understanding of market opportunity, aligning product and commercial teams in support of new opportunities, and balancing the portfolio of work to match the biggest priorities. In this capacity, you will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Commercial leadership. Excellent strategic thinking, people management, cross-functional leadership, analytical and communication skills are a must, as well as comfort with ambiguity and operating at scale. You will also have a strong understanding of Ad Tech, empathy for App Developers across their core jobs to be done, and a track record of shaping product strategy and growing adoption. Director of Product Marketing, App Developer Products Responsibilities



  • Develop and manage a world-class product marketing team. Mentor team members to support their performance and unlocking their potential for development

  • Lead market assessment, quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback, and represent the market internally with Product Management and Engineering, with a focus on app developer’s growth and monetisation goals

  • Identify significant long-term opportunities based on research, analysis and a strategic view of the changes within Ad Tech and the app developer ecosystem

  • Plan and lead cross-functional efforts to facilitate successful product alpha and beta programs and launches globally

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the broader Meta ecosystem and competitive landscape to create strategic product feedback and positioning

  • Define and manage comprehensive go-to-market strategy and plan including positioning, policy, and launch strategy

  • Partner effectively with Product Management and outbound marketing to lead world-class product marketing communications for new products

  • Communicate the value proposition of new products to all go-to-market teams and ensure that effective sales support materials and packages are created

  • Grow product adoption and usage rates by supporting market facing programs and effective product launches


Minimum Qualifications



  • Significant experience in a Product Marketing, Product Management, or Strategy Consulting

  • Deep knowledge of the App Developer ecosystem, including developers, OEMs, App Stores, and Ad Tech players

  • Strong empathy for App Developers and their growth and monetisation needs

  • Proven leader of leaders role in other fast moving companies

  • Strong and inclusive people management capabilities and stakeholder management

  • Proven experience of successfully working in a fast paced, scaled and matrix organization

  • Proven experience leading large, distributed teams

  • Strong executive presence and a track record of working well in cross functional teams

  • Strong data and analytical skills
