Manages the activities of production team(s) to ensure that operations run according to established production specifications and schedules; utilization, volume, cost, and wastage targets, and quality standards. Monitors the volume and quality of output and adjust tasks, timing, equipment set-up, or inputs so that production specifications are met and resources are used efficiently. Provides operational input for planning, sourcing, directing and monitoring workflow including supplies. Collaborates with and may source vendors who provide technical support for equipment and/or product. Develops approaches and plans for pricing, budget development and tracking, equipment needs and material procurement. Collaborates with Technical Support, Client Relationship, Risk and Compliance to ensure all federal, state and regulatory requirements are followed.

Interacts directly with clients, regulatory agencies, auditors, prospects, and other team members to deliver first rate products, services, and solutions, spanning all company segments. Maintains an in-depth working knowledge of regulatory requirements to ensure compliance of supported systems.

Champions new products and services and delivers innovation to our clients. Establishes strategic partnerships and drives innovation while continuously reviewing client, industry and market landscape. Recommends, develops and implements new and creative products, processes and services that ensures clients, and TSYS business objectives are met. Executes solutions within the company to effectively gain buy-in from stakeholders.

Oversees the hiring, performance management and development of the leadership team. Provides continuous coaching with regard to functional and leadership standards (technical skills and behaviors). Lead and motivate teams to perform at high levels; inspire a culture of high productivity, quality and client satisfaction.

Leads and ensures the development and execution of vendor proposals, supports client and prospect RFP’s by working with various internal stakeholders which includes negotiating terms, management of and engagement in contractual relationships with strategic partners, vendors and clients.

Directs and coordinates various programs essential to production operations. Provides strategic direction and leadership to determine goals, targets and objectives. Reviews production and operating reports, directs the research and resolution of operational, production, and service problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.

Develops programs, and methods of maintaining and repairing high speed production equipment. Optimizes maintenance programs by evaluating and establishing best practices in predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance.

Creates a budget that manages cost and maximize profitability. Develops operational strategies by conducting needs assessments, performance reviews, capacity planning, and cost/benefit analysis to meet or exceed plans and key performance indicators. Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, production, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays. Researches and implements new technologies.

Enacts contingency plans as needed; escalates and directs activities during systems problems, disasters, etc.; identifies potential problems, troubleshoots, escalates issues, and participates in post-mortem analysis of problems providing input for future process improvements. Establish credibility throughout the region as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

Relevant Experience or Degree in: related field of study from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

Typically a minimum of 10 years

related professional experience including a minimum of 5-6 years experience in a managerial position.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree

related field of study from an accredited university.

Prior TSYS, payment or technology industry experience is preferred.
