You’re a seasoned leader with broad exposure to the voice solutions business and to software platform development. You’re a confident leader in engaging team members, customers, industry groups, and our executive team. You will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to winning a disproportionate share of the Unified Communications, SIP Trunking, DID, and Toll Free market share in Canada and abroad. You will set quarterly targets to identify key growth opportunities, make platform development milestones, and support our sales team in closing new business. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape our relationship with a dynamic industry, help make important capital decisions and deliver meaningful loading and revenue results for TELUS.

Create and deliver the go to market strategy for delivering loading through telecom carriers, resellers, managed service providers and platform operators

Lead and develop a dynamic group of professionals to deliver on your vision and your targets

Position TELUS as the best choice of service provider in the UC/SIP Trunking industry

Engage stakeholders from across TELUS to ensure that new and existing customers receive an exceptional customer experience

Balance partnership acquisition strategies, internal processes, and financial targets to achieve optimum results

Qualifications

Deep knowledge of players and technology in the IP voice services business

Experience leading a talented team

Entrepreneurial talent with courage to take on new markets

Proven track record of delivering results

Analytical, verbal and written communication skills

Strong communication skills to gain support and overcome resistance

Ability to collaborate with partners, stakeholders and lead a cross-functional team to achieve goals and deliver results

Problem-solving skills to work through difficult challenges

University degree (undergraduate), Masters or MBA an asset

10-15 years of equivalent experience
