We are looking for an experienced retention marketer to own the strategic leadership of our
lifecycle marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be able to turn customer data and
insights into actionable strategies, delivering meaningful interactions with our growing
customer base across multiple channels. As an omni-channel expert, this candidate will
lead a team to spearhead innovative strategies that maximize lifetime value, drive increased
customer satisfaction, fosters engagement, loyalty and retention.
Define and evolve the retention strategy for Amazon / DTC, identifying ways to build on email, social media, community, loyalty, and retention.
Develop a customer conversion strategy that maximizes lifetime revenue for direct to consumer brands.
Devise strategies, creative marketing propositions and campaigns that increase engagement, customer satisfaction, and long term brand loyalty.
Forecast growth of retention channels and measure retention KPIs against budget.
Translate high-value behaviors and motivations into optimizing existing programs. Work closely with data and analytics teams to develop and track audiences, identifying high value actions that reduce churn through optimizations.
Gain deeper understanding of consumers on a brand level to improve messaging and understanding of customer’s perspective and needs.
Collaborate with the Customer Obsession team to better understand the customer experience and pain points to better inform retention strategies.
Lead and support a team of multiple direct reports across various retention channels, clearly defining objectives, responsibilities, collaboration, and maintaining a positive culture.
Define our CRM strategy and work with Sr. Managers and Associate Directors to craft blue ocean ideas that bring all our brands together, enable us to launch new products quickly and build pools of users who engage and trust our suite of brands.
What you bring to the party:
7-10 years of experience in Analytics, Retention, Customer Engagement, and Lifecycle marketing
Strong understanding and experience of retention strategies in direct to consumer ecommerce
Data-driven decision-maker with a continuous desire to analyze and further improve performance
Track record in conceptualizing initiatives, managing projects, and driving measurable results
Creative problem-solver with demonstrated ability to overcome challenges in a fast paced environment
Ability to discover unique insights and push the envelope in a constant test and learn environment. Just because no one has ever done it does not mean it cannot be done
Experience forging strategic partnerships with softwares, vendors and people in a win-win environment
