The Director, Sales Enablement Strategic Programs is responsible for leading the team charged with building and managing world-class virtual global sales training and enablement programs that foster sales process excellence and effectiveness. The incumbent will develop and refine sales process, create and implement sales playbooks, design and rollout training in coordination with Ceridian’s Learning and Development team, and champion development of additional sales tools to improve efficiency of the sales team. Will liaise with Sales Operations and handle executive communications within and between departments.

Responsibilities: 

Develop and lead the successful execution of sales enablement programs to ensure Ceridian sales channels are equipped with content, resources, tools and training to effectively sell Ceridian product offerings

Direct sales communications customized regionally as needed, for various audiences

Act as the lead liaison to Marketing. Serve as the primary liaison between Revenue Operations, People & Culture and R&D to develop specifications, present requirements, and coordinate project development within other business units on behalf of Revenue Operations

Running the Sales Help Desk and managing enablement intake

Organizing the Monthly Field Update Call. Collaborate with various SMEs to identify and develop relevant content for Sell Better, Work Better, Lead Better

Project managing all enablement participation in sales events. Ensure alignment of sales enablement activities with key internal and external events, such as new product releases, campaigns, and essential industry trade shows

Managing the Highspot content management system

Manage and drive online, self-paced on-boarding and result-driven continuous learning

Leverage Salesforce.com CRM infrastructure and other tools for delivering formal and informal/social learning

Develop sales competency assessments as well as partner certification programs

Measure and report on the effectiveness of sales enablement investments and programs

Determine opportunities for improving the sales learning experience and identify innovative techniques for delivery

Monitor and respond to key performance indicators and conduct root cause analysis on variances to ensure that the sales teams are performing at optimum levels and maximizing effectiveness and efficiency

Qualifications:

BS/BA Required

10+ years sales or sales enablement experience, preferably in SaaS or Tech space

Working knowledge of sales training technology and methodologies; demonstrable experience with sales enablement concepts, practices, and procedures

Relevant experience preparing, developing, and executing sales effectiveness strategies, tactics and action plans

Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them to audiences of varying technical expertise (sales team, customers, channel partners, and internal support partners).

Strong ability to interact and influence effectively with sales professionals and leaders

Strong writing acumen (i.e. storytelling, messaging, content)

Sound business judgment; strategic and analytical capabilities

Ability to prioritize and multitask; ability to adapt to a fast-moving environment

A creative and disruptive approach; An energetic and growth mindset

An entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to build new programs and strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience growing and driving change in a fast growth organization

Deep understanding of Ceridian’s business flows and a demonstrated ability to utilize data to drive outcomes for sales

Experience working in HCM, ERP, WFM or related industries is a bonus
