As the Director, Americas Sales Planning & Operations, you will be a member of the Americas sales leadership team responsible for all aspects of planning & operations across the Americas theater.The role will report into the VP of Sales Operations with a dotted line to the Americas Sales VP.In this role, you will define and implement sales strategies, programs & analytics.You’ll work closely with senior leaders across Sales, Channels, Marketing, Finance, and HR to quickly understand issues, perform analysis and implement scalable solutions.This role will be responsible for the data integrity of headcount, forecasting, territory management, and other key sales process areas.You will also manage the Annual Operating Plan for the Americas including sales policies, quota & productivity modeling, sales SPIFFs, & territory setting.The ideal candidate has strong collaboration skills, can think big picture but also get down into the details, and is a proactive problem solver.The role will initially be an individual contributor role but there may be an opportunity to build a team in the future as the company and sales organization continues to grow. 


Your day-to-day


Provides knowledge and experience-based leadership to the sales & channel leaders to guide effective decision-making, revenue growth, and sales productivity.

Reports and tracks performance against plan for all aspects of the sales organization across a variety of key performance metrics.

Identifies trends in the business and makes recommendations to address and/or take advantage of these trends.

Manages the implementation of programs & processes across the Americas.This may include new sales tools, acquisition integration, and compensation initiatives & SPIFFs. 

Manage & communicate Rules of Engagement (RoEs) for the sales organization; Collect, track, and facilitate exceptions against the RoEs. 

Develops, manages & reports on key revenue and pipeline metrics.

Manages sales forecasting, planning processes, & headcount.  

Facilitates compensation and split disputes with sales leaders, sales operations, and finance.

Supports the Americas Sales VP with QBR, All Hands, and other high visibility presentations. 

What you bring to the team


 8+ years’ experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Enablement, and/or finance organizations.Experience in with SaaS based companies a plus.

Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries.

People management experience preferred but not mandatory

Experience with Salesforce.com, forecasting, sales analytics, and quoting tools

Expertise with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint

Strong project management, planning, and organization skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Continuous improvement attitude; ability to suggest and implement best practices

Strong and clear communication skills

B.A. or B.S. in Business, Finance, or related fields
