In your role, you’ll be influential in spreading the word about our cutting edge technology and expanding our footprint via partnerships.


The Strategic Alliances Director will be responsible for building out a network of partners to support our North America go-to-market strategy. The role will involve identifying, targeting and recruiting ISV and consulting partners who can source new pipeline for the region as well as providing extended service delivery capability. This role will report to the VP Strategic Alliances but will work cross functionality with the North American sales, marketing and customer success teams.

Results orientated individual with strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize multiple objectives while meeting aggressive deadlines

A team player with experience working with a direct sales team in a collaborative, co-sell environment. Can-do attitude towards supporting teammates, colleagues and partners to solve problems

You have experience working with partners to identify and develop joint solutions and manage the go-to-market activities to support those solutions

You have experience generating analytics, incentive models and pricing structures for partners to support joint GTM activities and assess market opportunity with prospective partners

You take a creative approach to identifying solutions for partners and clients/prospects

You possess excellent written and verbal communications skills

You are able to work cross functionally to support channel marketing programs, partner certifications and training, partner solution development, etc

5+ years sales or GTM experience

3+ years partner management experience ideally at a SaaS provider

5+ years software industry experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

What you will be doing:

Supporting regional revenue targets through sourcing and influencing deals with ISV and consulting partners

Identifying, qualifying and recruiting partners into your region to support your sourcing and influencing targets

Working with those partners to develop a joint solution and better together story that they provide to compliment Seismic

Maintaining joint business plans and establish clear mutual commitments around co-marketing, integration development, training, lead generation and sales alignment and review regularly to maintain engagement

Leading regular pipeline reviews with partners to ensure accuracy and progression.

Coordinating with our Product team to develop scalable integrations with these ISV partners

Educating Seismic Sales and customer success teams on our partners and the value to our customers and prospects

Evangelising Seismic’s solution across partner teams including Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Product Management to support our partners in achieving our jointly agreed goals and objectives

Effective collaboration with the wider NA sales team and Global Strategic Alliances team to proactively accelerate revenue generation via partner relationships.

Driving tactical partner field interaction and deal execution.

Collaborating with field sales teams to provide partners that add value to our current and prospective customers, identify incremental opportunities and assist in current sales pursuits.
