We are expanding. Our team is looking for a Director of Strategic Partnerships for AudioGO. AudioGO is our new buying platform for SMBs who want to advertise on digital audio.


In this role, you will acquire new business by developing channel partnerships with companies that serve a large number of SMBs. These partners will include small business associations, professional organizations, franchises, directories, affiliate networks, online marketplaces, data vendors, publishers, media sales reps, business and marketing service providers, and SaaS vendors.


To succeed, you will need in-depth experience and senior level connections in the digital advertising and SMB marketing industries. At the same time, this position will also require close coordination with your colleagues who build and market the AudioGO platform.

In this role you will report to the VP of Demand, North America.


Roles and responsibilities:


Build a pipeline of channel partners that can each drive a large number of SMB advertisers

Handle all new contract and renewal negotiations with these strategic partners

Develop strong relationships with senior decision makers at these strategic partners

Handle all day-to-day communications, partner enablement, troubleshooting, support

Understand the needs of each partner, actively advocate on their behalf to our product org

Manage partner performance to achieve targets for SMB advertiser count and revenue

Identify opportunities for growth at each partner


Requirements:


10+ years of business development experience

Minimum of 5 years in strategic partnerships

Proven track record of building lasting channel partnerships in the SMB marketing industry

Established network of senior contacts at SMB business solution providers

Good understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem (SSPs, DSPs, Exchanges, DMPs, etc.)

Comfortable with using digital ad buying platforms, able to do live demos as needed

Excellent oral and written communications skills, comfortable presenting to clients

Strong negotiator who is familiar with typical B2B partnership contracts and terms

Able to engage with senior management internally and externally on strategic topics

Strong time management, organizational and analytical skills

Available to travel for client meetings as needed (10-20% of your time)

Able to work in a fast-paced environment with international teams

Entrepreneurial, with self-starter mentality

Bachelor's degree
