Job Functions:



• Actively communicates with organization on changes in the supply chain operation.

 

• Actively participates in clinical rounding to identify supply chain service level challenges.


• Works closely with senior management to drive communication on supply chain challenges and successes.

 

• Actively participates in supply chain strategy development with corporate supply chain.

 

• Works closely with site supply chain staff to execute the supply chain strategy.



• Actively provides feedback to corporate on appropriateness of supply chain strategy for organization.

 

• Communicate with the responsible supply chain staff and/or customer on each unit regarding changes within the supply chain operations and/or results from rounding Drive accountability across the department on activities that are occurring with team members and projects.

 

• Directs the hiring, disciplinary action and performance evaluation of all supply chain staff.

 

• Hires and maintains the appropriate personnel to meet the business needs.

 

• Executes the human resource policies and procedures appropriately for employee disciplinary action.

 

• Ensures annual performance reviews are thoroughly completed in a timely manner.

 

• Establishes KPIs, monitors performance, and drives improvement with accountability in supply areas within the organization.

 

• Identifies opportunities for improvement and works closely with supply chain system director of operations and supply chain site manager to execute change.

 

• Ensures the established operating metrics are tracked, reported and reviewed weekly. Assesses the operating metrics for appropriateness on annual basis.

 

• General oversight of supply chain personnel, operations and budget for accountable areas within the organization.

 

• Assesses the current processes and technology to ensure operational effectiveness.

 

• Develops and monitors the annual operating budget.

 

• Ensures the supply chain staff are adequately trained to perform daily activities.


 

• Identifies and manages supply chain risk.Proactively monitors and addresses any supplier performance issues.

 

• Addresses any compliance and safety issues in a timely manner.

 

• Proactively monitors and addresses any supplier performance issues.

 

• Provides oversight of supply chain personnel, operations and budget for accountable areas within the organization.

 

• Maintain the appropriate personnel to meet the business needs.

 

• Ensures the supply chain staff are adequately trained to perform daily activities.

 

• Responsible for building operational alliances with hospital executives, directors, clinical and support staff as it relates to successfully performing the services required.

 

• Works closely with senior management to drive communication on supply chain challenges and successes.

• The Director Supply Chain Site is responsible for leading, implementing, measuring, and directing an integrated supply chain across the hospital campus.

 

• Understand the strategies of the facility and develop plans to support those strategies within supply chain.

 

• Implement and sustain system supply chain initiatives within your organization.

 

• Identifies opportunities for improvement and works closely with supply chain system director of operations and supply chain site manager to execute change.

Additional Requirements:



Education:



Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Services or related field.



Experience:



Five years in supply chain management; 2 years of management/supervisory experience
