We are seeking a Director – System Workforce Planning and Management in Wausau, Wisconsin at Aspirus Corporate Office is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and management, of workforce strategy. Provides leadership for workforce planning and management for Patient Care Services within Aspirus. Provides direction for optimizing workforce resources, achieving successful fiscal, staffing, and patient outcomes. Will develop tools to asset leaders to predict staffing needs and partner with Human Resources colleagues to strength the pipeline strategy, career pathways, transition to practice programs, and other innovative retention and recruitment strategies. Will provide direction and leadership for future central staffing office functions including oversight of the internal contingency resource team.
Professional Experience / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing required. Master’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Admin and/or Business achieved or working towards preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years working within a multi system healthcare environment in workforce/ staffing leadership position. Experience working with databases is desired.
Hours: Full time Benefit package available, 40 Hours per week, Day Shift
Wausau, Wisconsin is located in the lovely Wisconsin River valley at the center of the state. We have a metro area population of 80,000 with excellent schools, busy performing arts center, large private music conservatory, and visual arts center.
Quiet residential neighborhoods surround Lake Wausau and overlook the Wisconsin River or have views of Rib Mountain State Park. A normal commute is ten minutes to any part of town. We enjoy four seasons of recreation including all water sports, sailing, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, soccer, down-hill and cross-country skiing. We are conveniently located three hours from Milwaukee and Minneapolis.
