Our Transaction Management team helps clients strategize, evaluate and execute real estate transactions to meet their business and occupancy needs. The Transaction Director manages the transaction management team and executes large and/or complex lease and capital transactions while fostering client relationships, managing TM talent, and business growth.S/He is the senior member of the team dedicated to providing real estate strategy, transactional services and account management, and is the single point of contact for all transaction-related activities to our clients (unless large account with Senior Transaction Director role as well). S/He is able to lead and manage a large (and possibly global) team of transaction managers and local brokers.S/He works with clients to set business and real estate strategies and execute on those strategies. Ability to think strategically and act proactively.Creates strong client trust and confidence.

How your day will be spent and the value you’ll bring to the team/client:

40-60%- Manage Client Relationships:Works with clients to set business and real estate strategies and execute on those strategies. Either regional or national point of contact for all transaction-related activities. Provides outstanding client support. Fosters client relationships and creates strong client trust and confidence. Establishing client satisfaction objectives with the Account Director as well as specific programs and initiatives to meet client needs.

20-40% Talent Management: Leading a regional or national diverse team of transaction managers and financial analysts to deliver real estate transaction services with an outstanding level of client service. Coaching and developing of junior and senior team members including attracting and retaining top talent

20-40% Transaction Support:Regional or national point of contact for all transaction-related activities. Independently manages and executes complex, large transactions with high level of proficiency and knowledge.Lead key client meetings and conference calls.Identify dashboard and analytic opportunities and lead team to develop.

20%-Account Management & Support/Revenue Growth:Helping the Account Manager and/or Senior Transaction Director expand account services and participate in business development opportunities. Helping drive revenue and manage an account’s adjusted growth margin year-to-year growth. Participating in opportunities to develop new business with Account Directors and other key stakeholders

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance, Economics or related field is required.Masters, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.Real estate brokerage or salesperson license, preferred.LEED certification, CCIM, SIOR, MCR and related certifications, preferred. 10-15 years of relevant work experience with at least 5 years as a Transactions Manager

CRE experience, preferred.Seasoned transaction experience working with corporate clients to achieve real estate objectives.Solid understanding of financial and accounting impacts.Proven ability to manage a team, lead diverse team and identify/develop, top talent.Excellent negotiating, analytical, communication, collaboration, organizational and planning skills.Ability to build strong client trust and confidence.Work independently or within a team, while building relationships and interact effectively with both business and client, stakeholders.High attention to detail with well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
