Responsible for overseeing Leading Telecommunications Company Business MES Logistics operations including Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), materials planning, warehousing, distribution, kit production and inventory control. Coordinates and maintains all operations within designated Leading Telecommunications Company Business warehouse(s). Monitors materials usage, CPE stock levels, and overall inventory accuracy. Develops strategies to drive efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse and production operations including inventory management/ staging and material handling processes, quality, and logistics. Develops operating guidelines, policies, and procedures for inventory, kit production lines and warehousing. Manages additional projects as assigned. Maintains key financial and operational metrics and recommends opportunities for improvement. Provides superior customer service to internal customers (Supply Chain, Procurement, Field Services, Project Management, etc.)
Oversees all warehouse MES kit production functions and monitors materials usage to assure material versus installation yield.
Ensures the warehouse is working with Procurement on purchase of inventory to maintain Min/Max levels in all locations. Monitors stock levels, and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
Monitors overall inventory accuracy for all locations and develops action plans with direct reports to resolve issues and improve processes. Ensures that inventory controls are in place at all locations. Establishes inventory and warehousing performance
Works with Warehouse Manager(s) and/or Supervisors to coordinate inventory storage, turnover, and receipt/shipment of materials.
Interfaces with internal customers, suppliers, and other departments to ensure approved material is available to distribution channels. Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with internal customers.
Maintains inventory files and reviews items for physical movement. Ensures excess materials are disposed of in accordance with company directives.
Oversees the conducting and documentation of monthly safety training classes for all assigned employees within all warehouse locations. Creates and implements safety and health programs to assure safe and healthy working conditions and compliance
Tracks and documents new hire training program within the warehouse to ensure all employees receive the proper training.
Manages employee relations, counseling, and training. Develops managers and supervisors for future growth. Monitors managers and supervisor production and assigns tasks and projects.
Oversees projects, ensuring milestone dates are met. Maintains project status reports on projects and creates and manages contingency plans for projects. Evaluates impact change request against communicated timelines.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Maintains Leading Telecommunications Company Business production line integrity ensuring quality, quantity and needed velocity to meet repair and deployment orders.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
MBA or advance Degree highly preferred
Field of Study
Lean Six Sigma or other warehouse production highly preferred
Years of Experience
Generally requires 10+ years related experience
