Primary Function:


Responsible for the overall direction, management and successful operation of the Human Capital Management Systems and Process. This position will consistently provide leadership, insight and recommendations on leading HR technologies and business processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective systems and processes capable of meeting current and future business needs.


Essential functions:


Partners with HR Executive Leadership and IT to develop a vision for the future state of HR technology. Leads the development and execution of an ongoing HR Technology roadmap focused on streamlining and automating business processes. Ensures alignment with key partners in IT, Finance and Regions.

Understands system design specifications and recommends necessary changes that will reduce manual processes, intervention and increase technology ROI. Evaluates current processes to identify areas for improvement through technical solutions. Actively leads/supports improvements through more effective deployment of technology and processes.

Leads and directs M&A integration of People data and process into HR Systems.

In conjunction with IT, leads the implementation of selected HR business solutions, technologies and tools supporting salary planning, talent acquisition, performance management, talent management, succession planning, benefits enrollment, and benefit vendor management.

Enhances the understanding and acceptance of HRIS capabilities and promotes approaches to using HRIS to solve business needs and problems.

Ensures compliance and manages data integrity within HR Systems.

Establishes, maintains and implements strategies, goals and objectives to assure that HR Technology provides reporting and metrics to help decision making, performance assessment, and goal achievement possible.

Following upgrades and/or system implementations, continues to manage the planning, design, configuration, testing and support of HRIS.

Monitors and evaluates employee performance. Holds employees accountable for the attainment of defined goals and objectives. Executes effective performance redirection when needed. Develops employees through coaching, mentoring, and formal/on the job training and development opportunities.


Qualifications:


Required


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field.

Five (5+) years’ experience in leadership and people management.

Strong, proven project management experience related to implementation of new, complex programs, systems and/or processes.

Minimum of 5 years experience in Oracle and PeopleSoft strongly preferred


Competencies:


Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Demonstrated ability to consult with, manage and influence senior leadership verbally and in writing.

A technical mindset, including analysis, math and statistics skills, and report writing.

Strong detail-orientation with an emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture and create broad-based solutions.


Travel Requirements:


Minimal degree of travel.
