Warner Bros. Distributing Inc. seeks a Director, WW Branded Content & Sponsorship for the Creative Advertising department. Position is responsible for helping to shape the above-the-line strategy, the creative work and the day-to-day running and delivery of content and media sponsorships for Warner Bros. films.


The Daily


Work with SVP and Creative Executives to manage execution of content and media sponsorships, oversee the day-to-day development and delivery of creative content materials for upcoming films.

Generates new creative pitches for content and media sponsorships.

Conceptually creates advertising sponsorships for print, television and radio.

Monitors the development of the campaigns. Relays creative direction, status and delivery schedules to agency and vendors.

Attends creative content shoots based in Los Angeles.

Manages special projects as needed.


The Essentials


A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, or a related discipline.

Approximately 5-7 years experience in creative advertising at either a studio or creative agency.

Must have knowledge of marketing and media sufficient enough to develop creative strategies.

Must have sound creative judgment and be able to analyze the effectiveness of creative advertising.

Must maintain good and productive relationships with key agency, partner and vendor contacts.

Must have the ability to manage complexity and show a track record of reliable delivery of advertising campaigns.

Must have the ability to comprehend complex technical issues and adjust plans and communications accordingly.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively and present campaigns to management and filmmakers.

Must have the ability to monitor and maintain creative budgets.

Must have managerial/supervisory skills in order to effectively supervise and evaluate professional and administrative personnel.

Proficiency in all major desktop publishing applications a plus, including:

Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat.

Microsoft office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Understanding of conversion issues present when using applications across all platforms.

Understanding of how to troubleshoot problem files.

Some knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Final Draft and Keynote a plus.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to handle multiple tasks.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone.

Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.

Must have the ability to organize and schedule work efficiently and effectively.

Must have knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation and English usage.

Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.

Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
