The Retail Online organization is looking for an outstanding senior leader to join our Global Business Process Re-Engineering organization. This role will lead all aspects of our Systems Quality Management and Project Management teams, and will be chartered with enabling a continued ability to scale and deliver quality solutions well into our future. The functions this leader will be responsible for deliver software and process solutions, own the overall systems quality management and testing automation programs, and support both our Retail Contact Centers and Online store. The primary focus of these teams is to deliver robust, scalable, end-to-end integrated, and quality solutions that are loved by our internal teams and/or customers. The ideal candidate will have experience leading impactful, global teams, and shaping functional strategy in support of business goals, focusing on project delivery, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and test automation. Candidates should have prior experience leading teams through delivery of technical and process based solutions to sophisticated problems across the entire project lifecycle (from ideation through development, testing, release, and warranty).


Key Qualifications



  • Demonstrates experience leading with quality across a large portfolio of projects, with expertise in project management, User Acceptance Testing, and/or test automation implementation.

  • Can provide examples of success building global teams, strategy, and culture.

  • Communicates effectively, builds trust, credibility, and positive relationships across organizations.

  • Builds sound business strategies, and converts strategy into action by setting clear goals, articulating problem and opportunity statements clearly, and using available resources and timelines to deliver quality software and process based solutions.

  • Has deep expertise of technologies and transactional processes within a digital e-commerce environment or contact center.

  • Demonstrates the ability to engage Technology and Product leads to ensure the technical architecture that scales and that can be tested accurately prior to deployment.

  • Has deep SAP experience, understands an order to cash process. SAP S4/HANA implementation expertise a plus.

  • Minimum 12-15 years leadership experience in project management, User Acceptance Testing, systems quality, and/or testing automation.

Quality champion within the Retail Online organization Leads Global Retail Online Project Management and Systems Quality Management functions Builds cross-functional partnerships across Apple to enable the end-to-end scope of this team Defines strategy and implements processes to ensure speed, quality, and scalability of software and process-focused solutions Will continue buildout and implementation of testing automation solutions to ensure our ability to retain quality given growing complexity and testing needs Leads teams through delivering a broad portfolio of projects that are highly cross-functional and sophisticated in design. Builds and drives strategy for SAP S4/HANA implementation on behalf of Retail organization Supports their teams in a strategic, or hands-on approach, as decided by the current and future needs of the organization. Builds technical proficiency and knowledge in the functional domains supported by these teams. Sees around corners to identify both short and long-term risks/needs, and inspire change to mitigate these before impact Stitches across the portfolio to identify alliances/conflicts that may have been overlooked by teams more focused in one aspect of their delivery.
