Plans, directs implements and evaluates the operations of the Department consisting of a group of clearly defined personnel. Directs and participates in the department's planning, budgeting, education and human resource activities. Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards and regulatory governing bodies. Initiates programs to improve organization performance to enhance provision of services.
Must possess current N.J.. State Pharmacist License
Must possess a Bachelor's degree in related field. (Master's degree preferred)
Highly developed organizational, planning and management writing skills and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others
Understand the significance and role of the institution (Understanding and setting of goals, realistic scheduling and observance of deadlines,knowledge and understanding of the constituencies and knowledge of the service area, integrity, creativity, intellectual curiosity, high standards,persistence, and achievement oriented.)
Must have the ability to plan, coordinate, and direct the work of subordinate staff engaged in various professional, technical, and clerical functions
Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships
Six (6) years' experience in Pharmacy with three (3) years of which must have been in a supervisory position; or an equivalent combination of related training.
