HR Directions seeks a prospect for its client RTI International for the Emerging Technology Research Internship with Lab 58, RTI’s corporate innovation lab.
Lab 58 was created to be a resource for RTI and its partners by maintaining a deep technical understanding of new technologies like Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), Photogrammetry, Artificial Intelligence (AI), IoT, and wearable devices.
The Emerging Technology Research Internship will expose the selected intern to collaborating with Lab 58 team members to conduct research on emerging technologies to help direct and inform future technology explorations. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Conducting qualitative research,
Drafting literature reviews and manuscripts,
Conducting quantitative research

This virtual, paid internship will take place from early June 2020 through late August 2020. The internship requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. Hours are flexible during business hours, Monday through Friday.
Currently enrolled (for the entire duration) Duke PhD student
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of qualitative research methodologies
