Supports the Enterprise Applications team in the delivery and support of business software solutions including ERP and CRM related application platforms. Fosters a business-oriented culture that ensures alignment of enterprise application systems with the goals and objectives of all strategic business units. Responsible for hiring, coaching, training, performance management, and other personnel-related activities.
Collaborates within IS and across all strategic business units to plan and successfully execute technology projects that support the enterprise applications roadmap. Provides leadership to the organization to ensure the future-state vision and roadmap communicated effectively.
Drives collaboration with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and recommend integrated technology solutions that deliver process improvements and enhance business capabilities. Partners with business teams to ensure thorough implementations and assist with driving user adoption. Maintains focus on improving the end user experience.
Builds relationships and collaborates across all strategic business units to ensure the continuous alignment of priorities, expectations, resource availability, and service delivery. Models and promotes effective communication and coordination on enterprise application matters across the organization.
Ensures all business software applications, including custom and commercially purchased, remain current and in compliance with organizational, contractual, and regulatory requirements through proactive version management and upgrades.
Oversees the enterprise applications project portfolio to ensure proper prioritization based on value to the organization. Drives continuous improvement of the enterprise application team's capabilities. Prepares, monitors, and controls the enterprise application capital and operational expense forecast.
Establishes and maintains partnerships with enterprise application service providers. Ensures contractual performance and identifies opportunities to leverage value added services.
Persuades and influences others through strong communication and diplomacy skills. Exhibit strong communications and interpersonal skills with senior leaders, technology, operations, and end user groups, specifically during situations with conflict.
Ability to complete complex calculations in Excel, Access with a thorough understanding of views and/or stored procedures in SQL
Provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions
Minimum: BS/BA degree. Preferred: MA/M.Sc./MBA degree
Minimum 8 years of experience successfully leading an Enterprise Applications team for a mid-size or larger enterprise.
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a subject matter expert implementing an ERP for a mid-sized or larger organization.
Minimum of 3 or more years of experience with managing Agile projects and teams required or PMI certification and/or global program experience preferred.
Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a complex environment with multi-location team structure
Leadership capabilities, with strong lead by example experience and ability to motivate a global team.
Excellent functional application knowledge of ERP, including proven successful implementation experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to effectively communicate across the organization and with external partners in order to deliver reliable enterprise solutions.
Hands on and specific experience transitioning a large enterprise from an on-premise to SaaS ERP platform.
Experience with Third Party Risk Assessment processes and applications preferred
