STARZPLAY is our premium SVOD service for international markets. We are expanding our global footprint (currently in over 50 countries) and are looking for an experienced Executive Director of Content Marketing to support this expansion. The position reports to our SVP of International Marketing in our Santa Monica office and the focus of this role is to identify the appropriate titles to promote in each of our key international territories and build 360 world class campaigns for our Original and licensed titles. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Lead campaign strategy for all international acquisition titles, from identifying the size of the opportunity and positioning to creative development and final delivery of assets for paid, social, acquisition and partner marketing campaigns

Collaborate closely with the Domestic Originals Marketing team in order to successfully position Starz Original titles in our key international markets

Develop campaign extensions in the form of local activations, events and stunts

Liaise with studios and production companies to obtain existing assets for titles

Work with international analytics lead to establish campaign KPIs and develop a reporting format/cadence to ensure title campaign optimization


Experience & Skills:

Digital first. Experienced in digital creative, display, rich media and mobile marketing best practices for consumer facing brands on the client or agency side

Experience in marketing for entertainment, media, Tech, gaming or music streaming services a major plus

Demonstrated ability to lead teams in fast moving cross-functional organizations

Concise and clear communication. We are looking for excellent communication skills, confidence while working with senior leadership teams and second language (Spanish, French, German or Portuguese) and deep cultural knowledge of Europe and/or Latin America is preferred

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or relevant qualification and experience

At least 5 years of experience at a Leadership level managing teams. International marketing experience is a major plus
