Leads and directs construction projects and is accountable for program development, budget, schedule, selection of vendors, and management of project teams (both inside the organization and outside of). Provides input in to the design and execution of projects and serve as a resource, providing technical knowledge and expertise in the requirements of construction management and project delivery. Familiarity and understanding of the development process and construction practices/methodologies is essential; the Director will negotiate and manage contracts.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related discipline preferred.
RPA, or CSM designation (preferred).
Ability to effectively communicate with internal clients regarding policies/procedure, property operations and transactions.
Strong knowledge of finance and building operations.
Ability to effectively manage a team of professionals, including both employees and vendors.
Ability to take initiative, work independently and think conceptually, track and manage multiple tasks.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication Proficiency (oral and written).
7+ years of real estate property management or related experience.
Previous experience in interpreting and implementing commercial lease and/or contract language.
Proven experience in management, evaluation, development, and motivation of subordinates.
