The Director, Family Program manages all aspects of the clinical family program and staff, including but not limited to: supervising family therapists, organizing and facilitating parent orientations, family program, and parent/sibling support groups.
Collaborate with Clinical Director on Family program development and provide administrative support and supervision for residential clinical program.
Act as initial parent contact, establishing expectations and providing overview of Family Program and Parent Orientation.
Facilitate sibling group, process group or multi-family process group during Family Program.
Carry an average caseload of up to 4 families and provide coverage for Family Therapists as needed. Caseload my fluctuate dependent upon staffing and census.
Assign Family Therapists’ caseloads.
Provide clinical supervision to Family Therapists.
Coordinate schedule and assignments for Parent Orientation and Family Program.
Communicates with clinical team to ensure speedy response to family questions or concerns.
Primary contact for alumni parents to attend Parent Support Group, Alumni Events and as speakers in Family Program.
Timely completion of documentation (may include assessments, treatment plans, progress and group notes, discharge summary) according to established standards.
Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or related clinical field
Licensed in the state for which you applying as a LMFT, LPC, LCSW or Clinical Psychologist.
Prior relevant experience with two years as a family therapist
One year’s experience in residential
Experience with family systems and attachment-based theories preferred
