Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Interact on a regular basis with senior internal company and functional leadership and with senior members of the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) organizations.
Direct the preparation and support to annual and five year expense planning for a multi billion dollar DOD contractor. Work closely with internal Business Areas and Functions to manage performance within established budgets to ensure the overall cost of doing business remains affordable.
Direct the preparation of annual Forward Pricing Direct Labor and Overhead Rate Proposals and Incurred Cost proposals for submission to DCMA and DCAA. Direct the subsequent proposal audit support and negotiation activities.
Provide guidance to internal Business Areas and Functions in order to achieve compliance with Government regulations and internal company policies and to maintain approval of Business Systems. Work closely with both internal and external groups to resolve any areas of noncompliance.
Preferred Skills and Education
Strong working knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to lead and motivate a team of Finance professionals and to foster a culture of continuous improvement
Ability to develop strong working relationships with multiple internal and external customers
Minimum requirement of Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree preferred
