To support divisional finance managers deliver management reporting, annual budget and stakeholder support.

Accountabilities

Responsible for the management reporting for the Technology division stakeholders, including production of monthly packs and presentation of financials to the business

Oversight and support of offshore function in the production of management reports, and month close process

Cost management reporting and analysis and insight

Understanding of best practice financial control environment

Responsible for accounting transactions in the general ledger and sub ledgers, collating, recording and verifying financial data, and reporting up to Group Finance on a monthly basis

Balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation

Supporting the budget process and Quarterly Business Reviews for the Technology division.Including producing business line forecasts, projects analysis, budgeting decks, discussions with business and supporting allocations process

Support on the preparation of statutory accounts

Support ad-hoc reporting as requested by stakeholders, Exco, Business, Divisional Finance Director etc

Construct and implement constant process and control improvements and document processes

Personal Qualities & Experience

Must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent). Audit experience preferred.

Good process orientation with attention to detail.

Ability to problem solve and occasionally work independently.

Advanced excel user essential.

Effective oral and written communication that is appropriately tailored to the target audience.

Pro-active behavior that demonstrates initiative and positive work ethic to ensure activities are delivered to the required time and quality.

A positive approach to standardizing processes and making them more efficient.

Excellent system skills and ability to learn new systems and processes quickly, experience of Oracle and HFM preferred.

Ability to build solid working relationships with global colleagues.

Able to work in a changing and challenging environment.
