The Finance Manager will work closely with the senior leadership team and other business leaders in developing analyses & analyzing results to support key decisions for site & service line performance optimization. The position reports to the Senior Director of Finance and will often interact with regional VP’s and other operations leaders.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:


- Leading, defining and performing complex financial analysis and building financial models for areas such as service line performance, contract types, performance vs. business development models, etc.


- Leading the budget process for a service line, including working with business leaders to identify trends and quantify financial impacts in order to maximize site-level profitability


- Special Projects and Ad-hoc analysis for the Regional and/or Service-Line Leadership Team


- Monthly reporting responsibilities including:review of financial results vs. budget, preparation & presentation of results to executive leadership, including aggregation of data from disparate data sources


- Prepare pricing model and analysis for contract amendments and renewals


- Ability to manage competing deadlines, both upstream to business leaders as well as deliverables of any direct reports


- Work closely with Accounting, Revenue Cycle and Operations to ensure that financial statements reflect consistency with operational activities and contract terms


- Management of KPIs for service-line and driving for consistent performance and/or improvement where necessary


EXPERIENCE / SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:          


Basic Qualifications


- Highly analytical, detail oriented and organized


- Proven ability to develop, define and execute complex financial analyses


- Strong understanding of finance and accounting including but not limited to financial statements, KPI management.  


- Demonstration of cross-functional collaboration and ability to execute work across numerous functional areas


- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel


- Positive attitude, team player with strong interpersonal skills and flexible approach


- Ability to communicate effectively & concisely


- Strong desire to learn and continuously improve 


- Evidence of stretch assignments that reflect superior performance in previous roles


- Ability to thrive and grow quickly in a fast growing company


- Proven organizational skills with strong follow through and ability to meet tight deadlines

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:


Education


Minimum:BA/BS in Accounting or Finance


Preferred: MBA or MS in Finance


Experience


- 3 - 5 years related experience in FP&A, Operations Finance.Healthcare experience a plus
