Fraud Model Governance Analyst

Wilmington, DE

The purpose of this role within Fraud Transaction Cycle (FTC) - Fraud Analytics, is the provision of data driven analytics for the management of Fraud decision strategy, to maximize the performance of Fraud risk systems, toolkits and associated data and processes to contribute directly to the proactive detection of fraud and the reduction of fraud losses while minimizing impact to our genuine customers and their transactions.

What you’ll be doing?  

·Prepare initial model validation documentation, Annual model review documentation and model change documentation based on Group MRM standards.

·Coordinate and support IVU validation and Risk Oversight teams for successful completion of model validation.

·Conduct model identification activities that include analysis, documentation and registration of model based on group standards.

·Works closely with relevant stake holders (Fraud SME’s/IVU/QA) to on-board new model or manage existing fraud models.

·Provide reporting and status updates on fraud model performance and validation to all stake holders and senior leadership.

·Along with Model Governance activities support additional GFM Fraud Analytics governance activities.

What we’re looking for:  

·Four-year bachelor’s college degree in quantitative discipline required (ex. Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, and Engineering).

·2+ years analytical work experience performing data and statistical analysis.

·2+ years programming experience in SQL/SAS/Unix/Oracle programming.

Skills that will help you in the role: 

·Credit card experience strongly preferred especially in risk management function.

·Prior experience in Fraud risk management preferred.

·Prior experience with model risk management preferred.

·Strong communication skills

·Masters or Higher degree in Quantitative discipline preferred.
