Essential duties and responsibilities

The HRBP Director Global Purchasing focuses on organizational and team development strategy in partnership with Purchasing Leadership team, enabling a high performing learning organization. S/he will act as key soundboard and coach for senior leaders on leadership, engagement and delivery capability while delivering on the people plan and developing a future-proof organization. The job holder inspires and influences our truly multicultural Global Purchasing organizations, reporting to VP HR Global Operations. 

The role also includes the responsibility to drive specific initiatives and programs across all functions in Global Operations HR (GO HR). 

Key Focus Areas to reach desired outcomes

•Partnering the Chief Purchasing Officer and the Global Purchasing Leadership team on people and organization development matters

•Building the strategic delivery capability of Electrolux Global Purchasing 

•Leading own initiatives to enable High Performing Learning organization – mainly in areas of management and team development, functional competence and career development, change management

•Identifying, mentoring and growing talent pipeline 

•Ensuring business centric communications and development actions to strengthen the globally spread purchasing community across all categories

•Advising and following-through engagement programs

•Co-leading Inclusion & Diversity agenda, make a difference

•Managing the Employer of Choice agenda internally and externally

Education & Experience:

•12+ years of business experience in an international setting is a must, including track-record of close collaboration with senior leadership teams

•5+ years of leading team in multiple countries

•MA or MSc in HR/ Business/ Engineering and/or Social studies

•Proven ability to partner, influence and advise senior stakeholders to improve performance, leadership in complex environments

•Advising and coaching multicultural stakeholder groups in an international setting

•Operating effectively in a truly global, matrix organization is our reality, when you bring that experience with you, and you do it with passion, engagement and by incorporating various perspectives, it’s surely an enabler for success
