The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic business partner to assigned business units, and provides value-added support through a full range of services aligned to the current and future business needs. This position contributes significantly to the company’s business objectives by actively driving HR programs and processes. 

Strategic Partnership and HR Account Management

• Develop and maintain partnerships across the organization to deliver value added HR guidance and service to assigned business unit to successfully meet or exceed their goals and objectives.

• Maintain strong business acumen; understanding the organization’s products and services, revenue stream, key business drivers, customers, and market position.

Organization Effectiveness

• Lead/Partner on program creation and/or delivery with business unit leaders and HR COE’s to assess and effectively address HR needs in performance management, talent acquisition, compensation, organizational design, and employee relations.

• Act as a change agent for the business unit by providing guidance and tools to effectively manage a changing and transformative environment.

• Lead/Partner on employee engagement matters.

• Provide consultation on job creation, analysis, and design.

Talent Management

• Partner with leaders to develop talent strategies that optimize the talent, strengths and engagement of our human capital assets. This will include talent reviews, succession planning, talent acquisition, and employee development.

• Develop and execute, in partnership with business leaders and OD Team, training and development opportunities that will increase collaboration and skills of front-line and leadership level employees.

Employee Relations

• In partnership with Employee Relations Team, foster a positive employee relations culture that supports meeting the needs of the business as well as providing a conduit for resolution of employee/manager issues. This may include: manage employee relations cases including discrimination, harassment, conflict resolution, performance, termination and leave administration. Perform employee relations consultations. Participate in the employee relations training initiatives.

Qualifications - External

Required Skills

• Recognizes HR challenges and applies innovative solutions.

• Strong analytical abilities, in pulling and manipulating data, as well as interpreting data for clients and other customers.

• Solid performance consulting skills at all levels, including senior leaders.

• Ability to develop and implement HR programs efficiently and effectively, both broad and custom in nature, as outlined by the HR Director and/or business leaders.

• Courage in leadership and ability to influence leaders and others without direct authority.

• Customer focus, keeping commitments and follow through.

• Ability to work with ease in a matrix organizational structure.

• Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to human resources

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business or HR Related field

• 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, supporting large organizations

• 2 or more years of Employee Relations experience

Preferred Experience

• Master’s Degree in HR or MBA or other business related field

• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
