HR Business Partner:


 


Assigned to a specific Business division, the HR Business Partner plays the vital role of providing guidance and support on a wide range of strategic and operational HR issues. You will work closely with leaders and team members to foster a vibrant, friendly work environment that promotes strong collaboration, creativity, high performance and continuous learning.


 


More specifically, primary activities include:


 

Partner with leaders to deliver flawless execution of HR strategy and operational plans;

Understand and influence business drivers and strategies, as well as partner with clients to ensure business objectives are met;

Provide HR expertise, advice and creative solutions in the areas of talent management, performance, organizational development, employee’s relations, employee development and compensation;

Implement group practices, policies and programs through upskilling’s of line managers as it relates to talent management and workforce planning;

Partner with CoEs in compensation and benefits, training and talent acquisition to develop and deliver effective HR solutions designed to meet the business challenges and priorities of the organization;

Analyze metrics to provide insight into trends and propose appropriate interventions to achieve business goals and increase employee engagement, development and retention;

Act as a change agent for best practices in the delivery of human resources solutions;

Coach and provide guidance to managers with respect to employee relations; Guide managers on the governance and effective application of employment laws, HR policies, procedures and programs;

Manage and resolve employee relations issues.

 

Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Commerce or other related field;

Master’s degree is desirable;

A minimum of 2-5 years’ work experience in a HR Business Partner role and/or Talent Management and Development Center of Expertise;

Excellent interpersonal, strong presentation and written communication skills, both in French and English;

Knowledge of provincial labor laws;

Knowledge in one or more HR information systems and Tools; (Visier, Taleo, Workday, SharePoint and other proprietary applications)

Excellent applied judgment, work ethics and professionalism. Able to handle confidential information sensitively and with integrity;

Fast learner, proactive, agility to function in a fast changing envirionment;

Good analytical and problem-solving skills;

Ability to work independently and coordinate with key partner groups;

Member of Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés considered an asset
