This role will support the immigration program by managing the day to day immigration technology advances, operational enhancements and issue resolutions working with Talent Technology, Sales Force and Vendor technology teams. He/she will need a strong immigration subject matter knowledge and experience in working on implementing and/or managing technology platforms and solutions for immigration processes. This role should focus on continuous technology improvements, including RPA, that will lead to improved user experience for our immigration team, talent and practitioners in both U.S. and USI offices. He/she will serve as the point person for technology related support for immigration team members, stakeholders, Talent and vendor contacts. This role will be responsible for technology compliance and audit requirements. He/she will also connect and develop relationships with colleagues in Immigration, Business, Talent, OGC, Risk, Procurement, Technology, and Vendors.

With expertise on immigration subject matter, this role will be responsible for ensuring immigration technology advances, operational enhancements, and day to day issue resolutions

Responsible for immigration technology compliance and audit requirements, user access management, and technology related inquires/support from our vendors

Responsible for scalable continuous improvements to the immigration tools and technologies in immigration program to enhance user experience for the immigration team, talent and practitioners

Support and enable technology deployments to align with the ongoing regulatory and programmatic changes working with the Immigration team

Align with and support deploying immigration strategy, vision, priorities, goals, objectives, and metrics

Manage relationships with Immigration vendors and Technology teams with an emphasis on building a long-term partnership that will in turn, improve quality of technology support, data flow and accuracy

Ensure technology related data compliance triggers and support activities, partnering with OGC and Risk as necessary

Partner with and enable forward looking technology and reporting tools, using Deloitte standard methods, tools and protocols

Network with industry thought leaders to determine best practices and ideas from within and outside Deloitte

React quickly to rapidly changing regulatory and programmatic requirements that needs technology nimbleness

The Team

The US Immigration program is part of the Talent team of Deloitte Services LP in partnership with the Office of General Counsel. This team provides strategic immigration services to foreign nationals who work in the U.S., immigration program compliance oversight, and training to the management, Talent Services and the employees of the Deloitte U.S. Firms.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in engineering or science, MIS, computer science or related academic program

Minimum of 5+ years of related experience, and demonstrated leadership in managing complex information management solutions

Strong knowledge on immigration processes and technology project management is a must

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, be highly organized with a keen eye for detail, and be able to quickly respond to leadership ad-hoc requests and shifting priorities.

Must have a sense of urgency for change and improvement, and a balanced approach to risk taking and achieving results

Logical and conceptual thinker with experience in developing creative technology solutions

Ability to identify solutions and prioritize according to business goals

Experience in interacting with global cross-office teams, comfortable working virtually with colleagues around the globe; demonstrated ability to achieve results through influence in a cross-functional, matrixed, team environment and operate effectively in ambiguity

Advanced proficiency in MS office tools like Excel, and Executive level storyboarding in PowerPoint

Demonstrated track record of leading initiatives from concept to action, and delivering positive results

Strong collaborator and cultural sensitivity skills

Ability to manage confidential information appropriately and professionally

Strong competency in core professional skills, especially: attention to detail, resourcefulness, responsiveness, follow through, flexibility, initiative, and tact
