My client located in Atlanta, GA is looking for a International Tax reporting to the Tax
Ensure compliance with applicable international aspects of US Federal tax law,
Advise the Business on various planning strategies and legal simplification scenarios focused on minimizing all international tax burdens,
Ensure Company’s global tax strategy is supported and in compliance with applicable local country tax laws,
Ensure response and support for any audit, either international document requests from IRS or for local country tax audits, and provide leadership to Tax Department
Direct, lead, manage and guide the International tax function of the Company. This includes minimizing the impact of local country and US international tax on the Company’s financial results through planning, risk management, documentation and research. Under the direction of the President – Tax, establish and manage the levels of risk the Company is willing to take on global tax positions. Develop, train and coach members of the Team.
Direct international tax accounting & provision requirements, statutory and US GAAP.
Direct assistance as needed to Business Advisory Team by ensuring the International Team maintains effective relationships with Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Business Operations, and HR in order to advise on international aspects of the Company’s cash flows, repatriation proposals, PE exposures, ETR, etc.
Direct international compliance at the local country level for both income and indirect taxes including withholding tax requirements.
Ensure all tax process control documentations, tax policies and procedures, and disclosure controls are effective, maintained, and updated in accordance with all legal requirements including SOX 404 requirements

Qualified Candidates will:
Have a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
Have 8-10+ years of International tax accounting experience;
Strong technical knowledge of tax theory coupled with strong communication skills to convey complex tax concepts and results to senior management
Strong and effective project, time, and resource management skills as well as sound business judgment.
Ability to form relationships within the Company, with external advisors, and with tax officials, to effectively promote the Company’s tax position and influence others
Must be a solid team player and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment across different functional areas and within different levels of staff, peers, and senior management. Instills trust by gaining confidence of co-workers, direct reports, and others
