Supporting the overall risk management of CUKL and in particular supporting the regulatory deliverables related to the legal entity
Assisting with the management of information, dialogue and relationship with regulators
Assisting with key UK regulatory initiatives, including CRD4, Recovery and Resolution planning risk input into financials and Pillar 3 reports, preparation of legal entity Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Processes, CRD IV Self-Assessments
Responsibility for preparation, integrity and analysis of monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc legal entity/risk reports
Responsibility for presentations and documentation relating to regulatory or strategic deliverables
Assisting with managing the relationship with the CUKL and Consumer management team to ensure consistency of governance and controls in line with other related legal entities, whilst compliant with UK regulatory requirements
Assisting the UK CRO office in regulatory risk management projects relating to CGML, CBNA London Branch, and CEP London branch
This role will provide unique visibility, cross-functional and cross-Risk experience and knowledge. Position involves a significant amount of interaction with senior management and direct involvement in some of the most critical strategic projects at Citi in the UK. Will gain a strong understanding of credit, market, operational and liquidity risk and how senior management manages these across the region and legal entities.
Unusually, although this role is within a Consumer legal entity, CUKL, the balance sheet comprises aspects of ICG structures (Securitisations, Real Estate exposures, Trade loans), so the role will provide cross-business experience.
Strong analytical skills with working knowledge of the principles of credit risk and/or market risk, capital markets and finance.
Understanding of Citi’s business model and/or other financial institutions.
Previous experience in a regulatory role is preferred
Exceptional writing skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts, translate into "user-friendly" language, and effectively present in text or slide format
Strong quantitative and spreadsheet skills, ability to analyse and interpret date
Ability to quickly assimilate and analyze large amounts of information.
Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills, with ability to build a strong internal network across functions and expand within Risk.
Strong attention to detail, willingness to "roll up sleeves"; tireless work ethic.
