Job Summary:

Leads the efforts to expand the company’s use of technology to enable and achieve the organization’s goals and objectives. Provides strategic view and leads the technology architecture standards, research, governance, and education across the Enterprise (e.g., Security and Infrastructure Delivery). This role is accountable to ensure processes are well defined, socialized, and integrated into the overarching IT processes. In addition, this role is responsible for facilitating Enterprise Architecture Governance Boards. The role is also accountable for the curation of enterprise architecture content, the development and management of enterprise architecture metrics and reporting, and facilitating training/on boarding of architects.

Facilitates the escalation to resolve governance issues and sets the standards for service providers who are responsible for the actual hands-on delivery of services, managing outcomes and results. Strong focus on defining the data management, operational reporting, dashboards, and analytics environment that will enable more efficient and effective decision making

Develops and communicates reference architecture documents and product standards and develops and maintains enterprise technical roadmaps. Provides technical and administrative expertise to Shared Platform and Technology Product teams; evaluates new vendor products and services with an eye for innovation. May lead Enterprise Architecture across multiple domains.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 10+ years of leading and managing architecture, consulting, and development teams, with demonstrated project management, resource management, consulting, and solution delivery capabilities

  • 10+ years’ experience in establishing, automating, measuring, and optimizing governance frames that promote quality, re-use, and increase the velocity of product teams

  • Demonstrated enterprise architecture leadership for governance processes and programs at the strategic, blueprint and project level.

  • Ability to coach, mentor, and provide direct, timely performance feedback; experience setting direction, tracking progress, and ensuring accountability

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in executive presentation and escalation management

  • Background in consulting roles, strong leadership by influence, adaptability to multiple styles of management and decision authority

  • Ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team

  • Broad and deep knowledge of IT/software technology and trends, domain knowledge and experience in, application architecture, cloud-based application development, web services, middleware, infrastructure architecture and security architecture

  • Agility to work across multiple levels of the organization from developers to senior managers

Certification Requirements:

  • TOGAF Certification will be preferable
