Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an immediate opportunity for a Program Manager 2 - F-35 Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, based in Redondo Beach, CA.

In this position, your key roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
-Serve as the IPT responsible for managing the overall lifecycle for the schedule change process from receiving Customer requirement new baseline and changes to managing execution of the new requirement
o Customer Requirements (RFPs, Major Proposals, CRs)
o Requirements/Schedule (SOW Contractual Deliverables, Define and Allocate)
o Estimating (TA’s and BOEs)
o Planning (Load Business Systems (MPM, SAP), Align Estimate to Plan Baseline planning, Integrated Master Schedule, Project Management, Earned Value Management, and Staffing)
o Execution (Reporting, Earned Value Management, Risk and Opportunity Management, Financial Management, Quality and Customer Satisfaction)
-Provide support to the Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) leaders to facilitate the completion of Baseline Planning, Proposals and Major Master Schedule changes. This position implements and ensures vertical and horizontal integration for processes throughout the IPTs which requires coordination between Business Management, Production, Global Supply Chain, Sustainment, International, and Program Office.Responsible to work across functional organizations within the Program to ensure projects (with specific SOW) are formed for quality product deliverables to be submitted to the end customer within cost, schedule and technical requirement constraints.
-Integrate with the other IPTs that will require support from this IPT in Program Integration Must provide status and visibility for all deliverables to leadership. Provide leadership skills to the organization to successfully support every phase of the schedule life cycle, from conceptual development to implementation.
-Must be able to provide technical solutions which incorporates reducing costs, increasing efficiency (productivity), while maintaining flexibility (adaptability) to change in meeting business objectives in a dynamic environment.
-Must be able to remove boundaries between engineering, production, Global Supply Chain, sustainment and project management, and have the ability to lead the Technical Integration teams who contribute to the building of the master plans and schedules. . Mentor Planners and Estimators to develop skills for schedule preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting (funding) for all IPTs and other technical activities relating to the projects and proposals.
-Proven skills in developing people and teams are a plus. Position also requires proven skill in leading initiatives and the ability to interface with all levels of management and employees. The EVMS Planning, Master Planning, Advanced Planning, OPM, Master Scheduling, and Estimating organizations report to this position. Travel will be required minimum 25%

-Perceptive – sees the “big picture” and is able to understand the Statement of Work (SOW) at the IPT level, but is also able to focus on the details and can see potential opportunities to gain operational efficiencies and drive affordability.
-Possess Good Judgment– becomes a key resource and the “go-to” person for the Executive Leadership Team on the F-35 Program and can be trusted to provide good guidance decisions affecting utilization of company resources.
-Excellent Communicator – possesses very strong written and oral communication skills.
-Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and 5 years of related experience
-Management Experience or Project Management with teams of 10 or more employees
-Proven leadership skills, ability to develop and enhance processes, and lead teams to drive toward timely execution.
-Demonstrated Project Management Experience including EVMS and Master Planning, Estimating, and Master Scheduling experience
-Bachelor or Master of Science in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) Related Fields and/or MBA
-Program and Functional Management Experience
