You are responsible for the overall management of Technical Services and Project Management for a multi-state and multi-site portfolio of Industrial, Commercial, Residential and/or other assigned portfolio of properties.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate 3rd party contractors in providing comprehensive building setup and operations management, financial budgeting and expense controls, technical contract and procurement management for property related services within the portfolio.
- Manage project deliverables, schedules and act as the central point of contact for multiple stakeholders on technical matters.
- Act as the Project Manager on mechanical systems or other building projects and should be proficient to understand drawing/drafting practices, utilize engineering standards of design and have a familiarity with the use of CAD system.
- Work with 3rd party contractors to refine their scopes of work including the implementation of ESG best practices.
- Provide management oversight of preventative maintenance plan/activities to ensure contractors/vendors and technicians meet quality standards and be a major contributor in developing and maintaining facility construction and design standards.
- Keep abreast of latest technology to further improve cost or performance of facility systems, propose, plan and coordinate capital asset enhancement/upgrade projects.
- Ensure health and safety practices are followed closely in all work environments including but not limited to issues related to mechanical, electrical, fire, chemical and other hazards.
Job Requirements
- Possess a Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services Engineering or Construction Management with at least 10 years of operational and technical facilities or construction experience managing a multi-state and/or multi-site portfolio of high rise commercial, industrial, and/or multifamily properties.
- Have a fundamental understanding of building systems, good organization and time management skills, attention to detail, process implementation, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Be able to read, analyze, and interpret common technical documents, architectural plans, and financial reports.
- Experience in estimating, project management software and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Travel is anticipated to be 25% of your time. Must be able to travel 25% of the time.
