Identifying, initiating, building, and maintaining strong relationships with prospective investors including life companies, Agencies, pension funds, family offices, etc.

Oversee and deepen existing FHLBI, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and other investor relationships

Oversee all aspects of pricing, executing commitments, delivery, fulfillment, post-closing and investor reporting

Oversee real estate investor relations function, including the creation of diligence materials, such as RFPs and other ad hoc investor requests, and investor follow-up

Ability

Research, create and implement new loan programs to meet the needs of the Commercial Real Estate Business and its client base.

Understand the current Commercial Real Estate Investment objectives and formulate marketing plans to execute those market objectives utilizing secondary market network

Develop and maintain strong internal partnerships within Commercial Real Estate line of business as well as the Corporate Investment Bank, specifically in the finance, operations, marketing and HR departments to implement short and long-term strategies.

Capability to successfully establish adequate processes and controls to achieve end-to-end compliance for off balance sheet vehicles, across multiple layers and functions within the organization.

Oversee the daily operations within these areas to ensure staffing and work flow efficiencies are maximized.

Partner with Commercial Banking Leadership to coordinate a coverage team that includes Bankers, Credit, Investment Bank and Product Specialists to deliver a full suite of solutions.

Encourage knowledge sharing and help the Commercial Real Estate banking and product teams develop fluency on industry trends.

Divergent managerial skills including delegation, coaching and demonstrated leadership abilities among peers, team members and secondary market guidelines.

Identify opportunities for new products or enhancements to meet industry-specific needs

Research, maintain, and distribute key industry information including industry financial comparisons, market leaders, competitor insight, regulatory issues and trends

Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; MBA desired

· Typically at least 10 years in working with Commercial Real Estate Secondary Markets Preference for experience working with FHLBI, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. 

· Demonstrated experience leading cross functional teams within a business development environment

· Strong Understanding of Commercial Real Estate Loan Processes and secondary market executions and an ability and track record to meet or exceed aggressive goals

Extensive knowledge of mortgage products, financial services, lending, and real estate compliance in addition to sales management techniques.

Divergent managerial skills including delegation, coaching and demonstrated leadership abilities among peers, team members and secondary market guidelines.

· FINRA securities licenses 23, 79, 64 are required for the position; however, unlicensed candidates considered but required to obtain licenses over near term.

· The final officer title and job grade is at the discretion of the firm and will be discussed at the time of offer.It may be different than what is listed on the requisition based on candidate experience level.

· Position is a Managing Director eligible role; Executive Directors will need to go through LOB's Managing Director promotion process
