The EU Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and executing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the sales team in the EU, with an emphasis on France and Germany. This person will act as a liaison between marketing and inside, partner and field sales teams as well as central demand functions such as corporate marketing and global events. The EU marketing manager helps develop marketing plans consisting of multi-touch, multi-dimensional programs including both inbound and outbound tactics. Finally, the EU marketing manager will also help manage EU vendor contracts and relationships and supervise marketing assistants/ coordinators where relevant. This position will be based either in Paris, France and report to the VP of Marketing.

What We Want You To Do: 

Develop and deliver the EU marketing strategy to meet agreed pipeline targets and deliver on direct and partner growth expectations

Define and execute programs to creatively demonstrate Persado’s value to prospects, customers and partners

Work with field marketing to identify and successfully execute key prospect, customer and partner events to support key pipeline and customer renewal & advocacy goals

Drive and support all Persado EU communications and events.

Incorporate Account Based Marketing (ABM) activities to key accounts

Support the EU partner organization through the execution of partner marketing activities incorporating communications, partner programs, events, and demand campaigns

Develop and implement pipeline acceleration programs jointly with sales

Research, choose, design and manage live events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, and ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post- event strategy to increase engagement and response rates

Interface with sales to determine sales enablement needs, and work with product/solution marketing to develop tools, programs in a box, training and content

Forecast, measure, analyze and report on impact of programs

Proactively engage with the direct and indirect sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities

Evaluate, select and manage vendors that contribute to local demand creation programs including events venues and services, digital marketing agencies, direct mail providers when relevant

Develop and implement target account strategy to support account-based selling

Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities including global, regional and local programs 

What We Want To See:

4 or more years of field or regional marketing leadership experience in the EU

Experience in conceiving of and executing on programs designed to engage CMO and marketing executives is a must

Extensive experience in localizing US-centric marketing programs/materials/formats effectively to key European markets

Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness, demand, and bookings

Ability to demonstrate a track record of success in all key areas of responsibility

Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget

Ability to align tactical plans with strategies

Inbound marketing strategy/execution experience

Ability to understand decision impact on other areas of the business

Marketing automation experience (Marketo/Pardot)

Salesforce automation experience (

Fluency in French and German is a must
