The MDM Solutions Architect will ensure successful technical delivery of Informatica MDM, PowerCenter and Data Quality platform. In this role you will lead the architecture, design, development and deployment of Informatica end to end implementation including but not limited to core MDM Data Quality, Data Governance
The solutions architect will collaborate with multiple business stakeholders and cross functional IT teams and drive the technical delivery of multiple master data domains and inter-domain relationships
About the Job:
Define and implement business process workflows using MDM tools to enforce data governance
Drive the implementation of MDM architectures and business processes
Identify and analyze business requirements, functional design and translating requirements to technical specifications
Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver
Serve as a technical lead and mentor teams to monitor data integrity to identify data quality problems
Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service
Collaborate with various technical teams and business users for Development, QA and Operations Support
Manage data delivery project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping, planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing and go live
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline/experience preferred
Must have minimum 3 Full lifecycle Informatica implementations
Experience with Data Integration, Data Quality data architecture and Master Data Management project life cycle, best practices and processes.
Solid technical understanding of data modeling (logical/physical), OLTP relational databases, MDM (Master Data Management)
10+ years of experience in Informatica Master Data Management (MDM), Informatica Power Center and Data Quality suite of products
3+ year experience in Informatica ETL process for Data Extraction, Transformation and Load. Extensive Experience with installation and configuration of core Informatica MDM Hub components such as Hub console, Hub Store, Hub Server, Cleanse Match, Server, and Cleanse Adaptor
7 years of proven experience working with Service Oriented and Event driven architectures: SOA, JMS Messaging, SOAP and RESTful services. Hands on experience with Informatica MDM User Exits, Match Rules, De-duplication rules, ActiveVOS, IDD, Entity 360, Business Entity Services and Service Integration Framework
Ability to translate business requirements to technical design and code performance tuning of application database and Informatica MDM platform
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage stakeholders to drive MDM design decisions
Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members with varied experience level.
Ability to fine-tune and optimize MDM Hub performance.
Excellent communication skills and capability to engage with stakeholders to drive MDM design decisions
Excellent written, verbal communication skills, and leadership skills to develop creative solutions for challenging client needs.
Experience with Collibra or similar metadata management and Data Governance application is a plus
