Key Role:

Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems pertaining to CANS/WANS/LANs/VLANs. Schedule and perform network maintenance, perform installation configuration and repairs, and support certification and accreditation activities. Support all LAN- based applications, routers, firewalls, VOIP and Ethernet technology.  

Basic Qualifications: 

Experience in the planning, design, development, implementation, and technical support of multi-platform, multi-system networks to encompass diagnosing network performance shortcomings and designing and implementing performance improvements

Experience in network installation including high bandwidth data transfer

Experience with administering CANS/WANS/LANS/VLANS, classified networks, protocols and network troubleshooting, and network visualization tools, including Visio 

Experience with leading teams on small to mid-size network engineering activities

Ability to obtain a security clearance 

BA or BS degree in Telecommunications, CS, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems and 4+ years of experience in network engineering, MA or MS degree in Telecommunications, CS, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems and 2+ years of experience in network engineering, or 8+ years of experience in network engineering in lieu of a degree 

DoD 8570 compliance, IAT Category, Level I certification
