Role Summary/Purpose


The OTR finance leader for the Storage product line will be responsible for orchestrating the process to estimate, analyze and report the financials of the Storage projects.


That role will be the primary partner of the Storage Project Management team. It entails establishing robust processes specifically in the ITO / OTR hand over area, driving policy enforcement and harmonization, building forecasting tools and facilitating the ERP roadmap execution.


The professional in this role will act as the primary financial interface for the Storage projects and will play an instrumental role in the pacing and forecasting processes from QMI to budget to strategic plan.


The individual will also be responsible for driving cross product line initiatives e.g. developing project financial dashboards, improving measurement of cost out actions, implementing smoother project profitability reviews and enforcing effective monthly reporting.


Essential Responsibilities


The primary responsibilities are as follows: 



  • Become the go to person” for the Storage project financials and advise the operational teams on the financial implications of their decisions.

  • Ensure the compliance of the projects with accounting standards and policies

  • Establish and prepare the project margin reviews of the Storage projects

  • Prepare the projects estimates (Sales, CM, Cashflow) for the regular pulsing mechanisms and on an ad hoc basis

  • Run the closing process for the Storage projects and ensure that the financial reporting is accurate

  • The role will also entail more ad-hoc deliverables based on the Hybrids CFO annual G&Os including the execution of the ERP roadmap implementation, harmonizing the analytical tools across the Hybrids projects, supporting the business initiatives to drive cost productivity.


Qualifications/Requirements


This role will require at a minimum an individual that has the following skills:



  • 6 to 10 years of experience in operational finance roles and FP&A

  • Capacity to sort through issues and think out of the box” to find solutions,

  • Strong Influential leadership, having a track record of leading initiatives and building relationships in a global organization would be strongly beneficial

  • Can demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally with non-finance staff.


Desired Characteristics



  • CAS graduate, FMP graduate or public accountancy are a plus

  • Strong analytical and prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a matrixed organization

  • Quick learner and flexible mindset, capable to navigate and prosper in an unstable environment

  • Ability to work in a strongly multicultural team with numerous stakeholders and across different time zones
