Our client is an agency based in Washington, D.C., and is seeking a Sr. Publicis & Account Director, with a tremendous rolodex and great media relations experience to join their leadership team and to help take the practice to new heights. We are looking for a Media Relations Tsar! One that has the outstanding communication skills to carry senior conversations and lead global media relations campaigns for our most prized possessions, our clients. Demonstrated media relationships with top tier outlets is a must (NY Times, Vogue, Condensate…)

The ability to consistently develop and streamline processes for both a national agency with views of expanding a complex business globally, is strongly desired.

High performance is a must.If you are not an exceptional writer with strong experience in full life cycle PR, or you are not willing to roll your sleeves up and do what it takes to create an exceptional client experience for our clients quickly in a calm, poised and professional manner, please don’t apply.

Ability to land the stories that make our clients happy.The best leaders in media relations understand that the only measurable is landing the stories that give our clients the media coverage they pay us for. In order to do that, you have to have your pulse on the industry, and also bring a rolodex of relationships to leverage. Although we appreciate your willingness to identify and develop those relationships, if you don’t have them already, you’re probably not a fit for this particular role, but we are growing so check back in a few months for mid-level positions.

Earning the respect of your peers. You will be working side by side with some of the best PR tsar’s in the world; who slay dragons daily while having a great time in our work hard-play hard culture. You will need to earn their trust and respect by bringing expertise in media relations and events, eventually using your experience to coach and lead the team.

Live in the moment.Our client is growing, which means they are moving fast, could change gears. This also means they want people in the industry that think strategically and want to continue to fine tune your craft and explore your entrepreneurial spirit.
