The Senior UX Designer on the Sage Design System Team is at the heart of good design at Sage. We help our colleagues build scalable, consistent, and robust user experiences. We promote design and code quality, and help close the brand-product-gap.
We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our team. If you think we’d be a good fit, please get in touch.
Key Responsibilities Job description
•Maintain and enhance the Design System according to the Sage Brand guidelines.
•Design new components and contribute to the design language used throughout Sage.
•Present clear concepts and designs for implementation.
•Work closely with other designers and front-end engineers to ensure design requirements are met.
•Follow established standards and best practices.
•Iterate designs based on user-driven data.
•Expertise in user-centred design methodologies.
•Prior experience as a UI designer for standard applications.
•Expert knowledge of design tools such as Figma (Figma libraries and Figma branches).
•Hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and using a design system.
•An understanding of how components can be impacted by other components.
•Confidence to drive complex projects and own high-impact, design decisions.
•Exceptional creativity, aesthetic sensibility, and attention to detail.
•Strong communication skills to articulate your ideas and designs.
•Knowledge of design tokens.
•Experience in a Design Ops role (optional).
