As sales leader for the credit product, working seamlessly with GIO team members, Lending Advisors nationally and related coverage teams, drive the value proposition of the credit product and ensure credit is a core part of the J.P. Morgan offering

Partner with the integrated client coverage team to understand client liability structure and deliver tailored financing ideas and solutions

Coordinate across lines of business to deliver the firm and offer the most appropriate financing solutions

Originate financing leads from prospects and existing clients; lead lending-related marketing initiatives and campaigns

Play lead role in facilitating the credit approval process

Partner with credit underwriting to facilitate the credit approval process, business and financial analysis, due diligence and portfolio review maintenance

Monitor portfolio risk, maintain portfolio quality and prevent loss

Generate ideas / opportunities to leverage across Lending Solutions by sharing success stories and ideas with other Lending Advisors and with clients

Participate in the coordination of sales and relationship management effort with Bankers, Investors and Wealth Advisors covering clients in local markets

Ensure transactions are conducted within risk policies and regulatory guidelines 


Expert knowledge and experience in executing complex credit transactions including financing of highly structured investment carry trades, single-stock and concentrated securities, derivative-based solutions, and alternative investments.In addition, expertise is required in the field of securities-based lending, mortgage finance, art and aircraft finance and unsecured lending

Highly proficient knowledge of financial and capital markets

Credit trained, with advanced business and financial analytical skills

Knowledge of account maintenance, loan closing, credit administration and compliance procedures

Ability to communicate and recommend advice-driven credit solutions to highly sophisticated ultra-high net worth clients and prospects

Sales experience including: profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale and asking for referrals

Demonstrates understanding of wealth management including investment management, trusts and financial planning

Ability to work in a team based environment and assist in the development and retention of junior team members


10+ years experience in highly-structured custom credit, loan and deposit products

Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred

Completion of formal credit training program

[Series 7 license required for position; however, unlicensed candidates considered but required to obtain license within 90 days of start date]
