Position Summary


Rimini Street is looking for a passionate, cutting-edge Product Marketer who will help propel and advance our growing product and services portfolio. This Product Marketer is responsible for defining how we go to market, creating key sales plays and related content and messaging, campaign strategies, sales tools, product launch and sales enablement content – all in support of developing a world class GTM plan and its related execution. You will work cross-functionally to support marketing campaigns, awareness-building, new product releases, and support sales in positioning and selling our products and services across multiple personas. You will work in tandem with Sales Enablement to define and optimize the sales process to ensure we are delivering the right message, to the right audience and the right time.


This is a perfect role for someone who wants to be a key contributor to a passionate Product Marketing department focused on bringing incredible value to businesses while at the same time disrupting the software support industry.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


· Develop and own go to market for a key product set, defining how we build key sales motions and plays to take specific products, services and solutions to market


· Develop differentiated product positioning and messaging for specific products & services


· Understand and define buyer personas and articulate and apply them in a relevant manner across all sales tools and marketing content


· Contribute to sales enablement - communicate the value proposition to sales teams and develop needed sales tools to support the sales cycle and motions (i.e. sales playbook)


· Work with product teams on product pricing and packaging – SKUs, special offers, international price books, product launch and release, etc.


· Create key use cases based on client interview and engagement to illustrate the value delivered to our clients


· Work across all functions and teams to ensure the right content and programs are successfully delivered


· Conduct core research into competitors, relevant market trends, customer needs, and emerging customer use cases


· Work closely with Demand Generation, Awareness, and Content Strategy teams


· Act as an SME across the organization to support thought leadership and market positioning


· Be a trusted voice of the client internally by capturing insights about our clients’ needs and requirements through research and analysis


Qualifications/Skills/Experience


Education



  • Director - BS/BA degree required

  • Sr. Director - BS/BA degree required. MBA Business/Marketing preferred


Location

Experience



  • Director - At least 6+ years of B2B software or SaaS product marketing experience

  • Sr. Director - Over 10 years of B2B software or SaaS product marketing experience

  • Product Marketing experience and background in SAP, Oracle or Salesforce preferred

  • Demonstrated strategic thinker with hands-on execution creating marketing strategy, go-to-market plans, messaging hierarchy, personas, and foundational product or service content

  • Prior experience with enterprise software and technology

  • Experience in developing client go-to-market strategies (solution and services definition, packaging, pricing, and positioning) for leading technology, services, or software companies is required

  • Experience as a thought leader that can synthesize various points of view and create key marketing programs and asset

  • Experienced working with sales leadership and field sales to support and enhance the overall sales process

  • Proven track record of successfully launching, managing and growing commercial software products


Skills



  • Demonstrated track record of working across multiple teams, improving the effectiveness of sales professionals and developing successful go-to-market strategies

  • Excellent oral/public speaking and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information and concepts across a variety of audiences

  • Demonstrated success in product launches, sales enablement, and end-to-end execution of supporting marketing strategies

  • Strong project management skills and excellent problem-solving skills
