54 people have viewed this jobBAE Systems is seeking a Quality Director I as part of the newly formed Precision Strike Sensing Solutions (PS3) Business Area in our Hudson, NH site. The Quality Director will support to the Precision Guidance Sensing Solutions (PGSS) product lines in the areas of quality assurance, continuous improvement and lifecycle management. The Director will be responsible to drive permanent irreversible corrective actions using quality science tools via 8d methodology. She or he will help integrate APQP/PPAP for key products utilizing PF, PFMEA, Control Plan, Capability Studies, and MSA In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership to provide value-added solutions and support. The successful candidate:

Key responsibilities include:
Support establishment of a new manufacturing facility and receipt of AS9100 certification
Provide direction, supervision, and guidance to ensure alignment with quality policy, strategic objectives and organization goals that drive to Zero Defect plans and Strategy
Collaborate with senior leadership for planning, execution, and management of process improvements, projects, and other initiatives
Develop, implement and improve program quality plans and procedures
Ensure performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards
Review, analyze and report on quality discrepancies and data related to production
Lead integrated senior management teams to determine strategy and tactical deployment, improve performance, lower costs, and generate innovative solutions
Investigate problems and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies
Interface with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met
Recommends corrective actions, dispositions, process optimization and modifications
Collaborate with cross functional teams
Organizational skills – can marshal resources to get things done, orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal, use resources effectively and efficiently, and arrange information in a useful manner
Exhibits a high degree of technical credibility and communicates highly technical information in a simplistic and easily understandable way

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
10 Years of project, program and portfolio Quality Leadership and management experience in automotive or aerospace, commercial and defense hardware and software technology risk management
5 years of experience with Best in Class Manufacturing Principles, techniques, and Zero Defect tools and processes
Demonstrated mastery of the functional domain in Quality Science, strategy, standards and controls.
Strong written, analytical and verbal communication skills
Excellent Collaboration skills, project management skills
Capable of influencing a wide range of audience, and having demonstrated leadership skills to win support without direct reporting structure
Formulate strategic vision, define implementation plan of action to achieve success
Track record of building teams and turning program salient from Red to Green
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Technical BS/MS degree (in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)
AS9145 APQP/PPAP, prefer CQM/OE certification from ASQ.
LSS Green Belt, prefer Black Belt certification from ASQ.
Quality 4.0 implementation experience preferred
