The Regional Dental Director is responsible for providing clinical leadership to a team of providers in conjunction with providing dental services in their own practice. Leads through fostering and promoting an environment of collaboration, professionalism, and integrity. Continually works to align clinical goals with NADG strategic goals and objectives while fulfilling applicable compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements

DDS or DMD from an accredited school 

Dedication to integrity and achieving the highest standards ofethical patient care

2-5 years of Dental Director experience preferred


Essential Duties

Provide leadership and direction to dental team members in all areas of patient treatment.

Provide quality, compassionate dental care to patients when not managing other dentists.

Drive a strong culture and environment that will support and enable all team members to be successful. Fosters accountability, teamwork and mutual trust and respect for all team members through mentoring and coaching activities.

Expected to work all scheduled work days, during scheduled hours and report to work on time.

Other special projects or responsibilities as assigned.



Responsible for developing and maintaining structured educational program to further professional development of clinical team including dentists.

Holds regular documented meetings with dentists to discuss systems/patient flow quality, improvement in scheduling, and patient relationships.

Oversee training and evaluation of new and existing dentists.

Provides ongoing coaching, training and support as well as an atmosphere that encourages open and direct communication.

Quality Assurance

Assure compliance with all federal and state regulatory compliance.

Review and investigate all unexpected clinical outcomes providing guidance to Regional Director/Manager for case resolution.

Collaborates with Chief Medical Officer regarding cases of legal concern.


Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in clinical operations and management.

Experience managing other dentists and clinical staff.

Valid and current dental license within respective state of practice.

Valid and current DEA registration.

CPR Certification.

Current and valid drivers’ license and car insurance, and reliable transportation.

Proficient in excel and MS Office Suite.
