BAE Systems is seeking a full-time Requirements Manager to help guide and manage the requirements development process for our Systems Engineering team as it incorporates MBSE tools and methodologies to support the US/UK TRIDENT Submarine Strategic Weapon System and US Attack Weapon System programs.

The selected candidate will serve as a Principal Systems Engineer, specifically performing the following functions:

Select tools to manage, control, and track requirements.

Customize the requirements management tool and RTM.

Identify criteria for evaluation and acceptance of requirements.

Populate the RTM with requirements and establish the bi-directional traceability with requirements, design items, and verification methods.

Establish and manage the requirements change process.

Engaging with community IPTs / Working Groups / Communities of Practice.

Mentoring junior engineers / modelers in discipline and program applicability.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Active DOD SECRET Clearance

BS in Systems Engineering and 6+ years Systems Engineering experience spanning the SE Lifecycle with an emphasis on requirements management and development

Continuing education in Systems Engineering

Experience with broad array of engineering tools / languages including No Magic Products, PTC Windchill, IBM DOORS, SysML, JAVA, and/or MATLAB Simulink

Demonstrated Self-Starter with organizational, planning, and follow-up skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with others

Willingness and ability to travel

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Master's Degree in Systems Engineering

INCOSE CSEP certification
